The Benefits of Using Recycled Crushed Aggregates in Infrastructure Projects Study Report

The Toronto and Area Road Builders’ Association (TARBA) has just released a report prepared by EXP Services Inc. on the Benefits of Using Recycled Crushed Aggregates in Infrastructure Projects. This report was financially supported by OSSGA. The study analyzed six different stockpiles from different yards within the GTA to determine gradation and physical properties. Laboratory test results indicate that a high percentage of the tested samples of the RCA1010 material achieve the requirements for Granular A as per the OPSS1010 Standard Specifications adopted in Ontario for road construction projects
